Child marriage has become not only in India but in the whole world and India has second place in child marriage in the whole world. Total India is 40% of the world’s child marriage and 49% of the girls in India are married before 18 years of age. In India, child marriage is still in circulation in the state of Kerala, which is the most literate state. According to the report of UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Crisis Fund), there are more child marriages in rural areas than urban areas. According to statistics, the incidence of 68% child marriage in Bihar is highest, whereas in Himachal Pradesh, the lowest 9% is child marriage.
